Haribo Tagada, why are you so good?

That path you can see on the bottom left is where they led Jews to Spain during WWII. After climbing these mountains pictured, they had to climb Mt. Valier, the highest in the region, at about 10,000 feet.

Moo

At the party I made friends with someone else’s grandmother. She is a 96 year old lady named Moo and let me tell you, this lady is still completely all there and I wish I could have talked to her longer.

Moo’s son: Mom, you left your tea. Do you want to finish your tea?

Moo: If it was whiskey I wouldn’t have forgotten it.

It couldn’t be more blatantly obvious that we were meant to be friends.

Coincidentally, today was also my host’s 62nd birthday. My hostess is an AMAZING cook and this is a sampling of what we had today at the birthday pawty.

There seems to be a theme developing of small villages with interesting cars. If you recall the Dr. Bjorn car from Pont du Gard…

Bringing up the rear! From what was explained to me today, these would be the sprinters of the team. Today was a 6 hour long mountain race. They climbed 6 peaks today, wowee. I was also told that they eat 12,000 calories per day and we were guessing that’s the reason why they start so late (1PM), so that they have enough time to eat.

Just your average crazy drunkard frenchman watching from a window. Newspaper hat clearly necessary.

The winners of Seix! (Pun, sorry, had to. It’s funny, okay?!).

The leaders! And their extra bikes!

The publicity caravan. Thank you to Vittel, Haribo, and St. Michel for the sustenance while waiting for the bikers.
